Prior to departing Ogden, westbound trains would get a track warrant from the dispatcher. I was surprised to hear the DS issue this warrant to engineer Harrop....Doug Harrop...SP engineer, photographer and railroad historian. Engineer Harrop has his train westbound under "kodachrome skies" toward the Great Salt Lake causeway.
