C&WC 901 |
Description: |
Glenn Monhart owned the CM&N 564 and the Atlantic Coast Line E3A 501. In 1983, Wishing to find a mate for the 501, Glenn repainted the 564 into ACL purple & silver with Charleston & Western Carolina 901 (there really was an original CWC 901). The 501 & 901 ran several fan trips over the CWRC, but the CWRC never used the F unit in freight service. Here, the 901 is south of Monroe with empty coal hoppers for the ICG at Freeport. |
